I provide professional solo acoustic flute and piano for wedding ceremonies and solo recitals across Aberdeenshire and Moray from April - September
All performances are completely unplugged and acoustic. No digital pre-recorded sets, backing tracks, live auto tuning, microphones, fake grand piano shells, electronic keyboards or amplifiers. Just a genuine acoustic rich deep warm sound of a grand piano plus the ethereal romantic tone of a solid silver/gold professional concert flute
As a former orchestral flautist and soloist for BBC Cymru I specialise in the ceremony window - covering guest arrival, the bridal entrance, the signing of the register and the exit. I am fully insured and a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM) and an experienced wedding pianist and flautist

Performance requires a tuned grand piano on-site.

Solo Piano or Flute Ceremony - £450*
Solo flute or piano music for the guest arrival, the processional, the signing of the register and the recessional
Included: planning meeting, wedding rehearsal (subject to calender availability), set repertoire to choose from, up to two songs of your own choice not on my repertoire list
Combined Piano & Flute Ceremony - £550*
Create a magical atmosphere at your ceremony with two distinct sounds tailored to the mood of each moment:
Solo piano for the prelude, the processional and the recessional, solo flute music for the signing of the register- unless you prefer a different combination to suit your preferences.
Includes: planning meeting, wedding rehearsal (subject to calender availability) your favourite songs for the processional, signing of the register and for the recessional; hymns if required & your ceremony soundtrack as a keepsake
Piano Accompaniment & Collaborations
I can accompany and support the confidence of your guests, singers or other instrumentalists on the piano for the ceremony only or for the entire day and I have a music studio available for a rehearsal beforehand. Please enquire for details
I am also of course very happy to play with other musicians - for examples harpists, guitarists, string players on flute or piano.
*Please note - there is an additional travel charge of 50p per mile and a non refundable deposit is required to reserve the date
*Performance for the solo piano and the combined package requires an acoustic grand piano in playing condition on-site and access prior to the ceremony (so that I can check out the instrument and play through the repertoire beforehand). For venues without an internal instrument, a top quality grand piano including white, black and crystal options a can be hired through Gordon Bell Pianos, Aberdeen
Repertoire
I can perform any genre of music required. For wedding ceremonies, I play set repertoire for the guest arrival ( a wide variety of different genres). I am happy to arrange and play any music you select for the processional and recessional (and hymns if required).
